What We Do

Friends of Hurworth Primary raises funds and provides support for projects, activities and resources that benefit pupils at Hurworth Primary School.

Our fundraising helps provide additional opportunities and equipment that complement the resources available through normal school funding.

How We Support Pupils

We have supported projects and resources that encourage children to enjoy reading and learning, including reading huts for pupils.

Our fundraising has helped provide equipment for active play, including scooters and safety helmets.

We support opportunities and experiences for pupils outside the classroom, including contributions towards school trips and activities.

We help support additional educational experiences, including activities such as Captain Chemistry.

We organise and support fundraising activities and events that bring together pupils, families, school staff and the wider Hurworth community.

Every fundraising activity and project we support is focused on benefiting pupils and advancing education at Hurworth Primary School.
