Our Impact

The support of parents, carers, school staff, volunteers and the wider community enables Friends of Hurworth Primary to provide additional resources and experiences for pupils at Hurworth Primary School.

Our fundraising is focused on projects and activities that support children’s education, development and school experience.

Supporting Pupils

Funds raised by Friends of Hurworth Primary have helped support educational activities, reading and learning resources, play equipment and additional experiences for pupils.

Projects and activities we have supported include reading huts, scooters and safety helmets, educational activities such as Captain Chemistry, and contributions towards school trips and experiences.

Working With Our School Community

We work alongside the school community to identify opportunities where charitable funding can provide additional benefit to pupils.

Our fundraising events also help bring together parents, carers, pupils, school staff and members of the local community.
